Per Diem School Psychologist in Derry, NH

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
• Valid New Hampshire School Psychologist credential or eligibility for certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of best practices in assessment, counseling, and consultation within a school environment
• Previous experience in a similar school-based role is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs, excluding restricted cognitive testing (DO NOT RCT - TEST)
• Deliver consultation and recommendations to educators, support staff, and families
• Develop intervention strategies and assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and support services to students individually and in groups
• Collaborate with other professionals to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation according to school and legal standards
