Licensed High School School Psychologist in Des Moines, IA

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Ability to administer psychological assessments and interpret results
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Genuine interest in supporting students' academic and emotional well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments
• Interpret and communicate assessment results to students, parents, and educators
• Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling, intervention, and crisis support as needed
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to RTI/MTSS processes
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and district guidelines
