Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current state licensure or certification eligible for practice as a School Psychologist
  • Experience providing assessments, interventions, and counseling within a school setting
  • Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and MTSS/RTI processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practices and inclusive support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and strengths
  • Provide direct counseling and behavioral interventions to support student well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in student support teams, crisis intervention, and school-wide initiatives to promote positive mental health
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all federal, state, and district guidelines regarding school psychological services
