Key Qualifications:
- Current certification meeting Illinois state requirements for School Psychologists
- Experience or strong interest in supporting elementary-age students (K-6)
- Ability to work full-time, 35-37 hours per week
- Skilled in collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong communication, assessment, and intervention planning abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, providing consultation and actionable recommendations
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments
- Interpret testing data to help develop individualized educational plans
- Support students’ emotional and behavioral wellbeing through targeted interventions
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Document and report progress and findings in accordance with state and district guidelines
