Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a School Psychologist working in the vibrant communities surrounding Des Plaines and Cicero, IL. This full-time position runs from August 18th until May 28th, with possible extension for emergency days. You’ll be supporting elementary and PreK-8th grade students, working collaboratively with fellow psychologists to meet the needs of a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold current Illinois licensure and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with students with low or severe disabilities
  • Recent graduates with appropriate credentials are encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable providing psychological services to elementary and middle school (PreK-8) students
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for students to support academic and emotional growth
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) in partnership with families and staff
  • Support students’ behavioral and social development across a variety of classroom environments
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote effective interventions
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation according to state guidelines
