Required Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
  • Previous experience as a school psychologist in a PreK-8 setting or comparable
  • Comfortable working with students across all elementary and middle school grade levels
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention planning skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support teams

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and report findings
  • Consult with teachers and administrators regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns
  • Participate in the development and adjustment of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to support students’ social-emotional and academic development
  • Facilitate crisis intervention, prevention, and responsive services as necessary
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all legal and ethical standards
