Required Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Previous experience as a school psychologist in a PreK-8 setting or comparable
- Comfortable working with students across all elementary and middle school grade levels
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention planning skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support teams
Typical Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and report findings
- Consult with teachers and administrators regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns
- Participate in the development and adjustment of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect services to support students’ social-emotional and academic development
- Facilitate crisis intervention, prevention, and responsive services as necessary
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all legal and ethical standards
