Make a direct impact on student growth by leveraging your expertise in school psychology. This in-person, contract opportunity seeks a dedicated professional passionate about supporting K-8 students’ academic and social-emotional development across two school sites in the Chicago area.

What we're seeking:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Psychology or Educational Psychology
  • An active, valid PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement (Illinois)
  • Minimum of 2 years of school-based practice
  • Track record of upholding core values and maintaining a student-centered mindset
  • Strong understanding of MTSS, SPED, and 504 processes
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Preventing, assessing, and supporting academic and social-emotional barriers to learning
  • Working collaboratively as a core member of SPED, 504, and MTSS teams, ensuring timely and high-quality evaluation and compliance
  • Serving as a lead consultant for MTSS, guiding Tier 3 interventions and progress monitoring
  • Preparing and presenting comprehensive evaluation documents/reports
  • Coordinating with families, educators, and external providers, maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Keeping thorough records of service, collaboration, and compliance data
  • Staying current with best practices and evaluation tools, and sharing knowledge with colleagues
  • Providing professional development and acting as a liaison for child development topics
  • Managing a caseload of 60 students across both schools

Expect to work 37.5 hours each week, contributing your skills to a diverse and supportive learning community. Compensation is offered at $85 per hour.
