A dynamic opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services in educational settings. This role involves travel to various schools within the Des Plaines, Illinois area, supporting students and staff through psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support student learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention for students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with educational regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse student populations.
- Ability to travel within the Des Plaines area to multiple school locations.
