This role offers an opportunity to support K-12 students’ educational and emotional development through comprehensive psychological services. The position requires a full-time commitment for a full semester, working on-site in a Detroit, MI school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grades
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling support as needed
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance student learning and well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic school environment
