This full-time, contract-based position involves working across four high school campuses, providing essential services to a diverse SPED population of approximately 110-120 students. The role begins with the upcoming school year, starting July 7th, allowing you to dive into a rewarding professional experience from day one.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (state requirements must be met)
  • Master’s or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience providing assessments, interventions, and recommendations for students with diverse learning needs
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, special education law, and best practices in counseling and consultation
  • Strong communication, report-writing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for the special education population
  • Consult with educators, parents, and support staff to develop effective student interventions
  • Contribute insights during IEP meetings; help design and monitor individualized plans
  • Support crisis intervention, provide counseling services, and promote positive behavioral interventions
  • Maintain accurate records, deliver timely documentation, and support compliance with all regulatory guidelines
  • Travel locally between four campuses to deliver ongoing onsite support
