School Psych - Detroit, Michigan

A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support multiple campuses in Detroit, MI, with a Special Education population of approximately 110-120 students. This on-site, contract role begins on July 7th, coinciding with the new school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Providing counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and learning
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs
• Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with school and district policies

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
• Experience working within a K-12 school setting, preferably with Special Education populations
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage caseloads of 110-120 students across multiple campuses
