This contract position offers approximately 20 hours each week with flexible scheduling options. Choose to work half-days Monday through Friday or consolidate your hours into 2.5 days per week—the choice is yours, making this role ideal for those seeking work-life balance.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist credentials recognized by the state of Michigan
- Previous experience working with students who have significant needs (MoCI, SCI, SXI) preferred
- Proficiency in conducting thorough psychoeducational re-evaluations
- Ability to collaborate professionally with another School Psychologist and a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with students ranging in age from preschool through young adulthood (3–26 years) considered an asset
Position Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive re-evaluations for students as required by the center program
- Work collaboratively within a team of School Psychologists to share insights and case responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Communicate evaluation results and recommendations clearly to families and educational staff
- Contribute to a positive, supportive environment for students, families, and colleagues
