Key Qualifications:
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience conducting evaluations, ideally at the elementary level
- Strong skills in behavioral observations, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with the IEP process and experience serving on multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Team-oriented mindset and a passion for supporting student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational evaluations at all grade levels, primarily elementary
- Collaborate closely with two other school psychologists to coordinate assessment tasks and caseloads
- Conduct classroom observations and develop recommendations for interventions and supports
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and student study teams, providing expertise in assessment data and student needs
- Consult with teachers and staff to create effective strategies for student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a positive school climate
