Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting student observations to gather essential behavioral and academic insights
  • Evaluating students in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Leading and participating in IEP meetings to design and implement effective support plans
  • Completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and offering data-driven recommendations
  • Partnering with teachers, staff, and families to foster a positive learning environment

Desired qualifications:

  • Active Michigan School Psychologist certification (required)
  • Previous experience in K-12 settings is highly valued
  • Proficiency in conducting FBAs, evaluations, and supporting IEP development
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
