Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and licensure required
  • Prior experience in a school setting, especially at the high school level, preferred
  • Proficient in conducting psychological and academic evaluations
  • Strong skills in report writing and developing recommendations for intervention plans
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork and communication with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to attend and participate meaningfully in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high school caseload, delivering psychological assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Compile comprehensive, insightful evaluation reports
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with multidisciplinary teams to develop student-centric plans
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support positive learning environments
  • Collaborate with families to guide them through the evaluation process and discuss recommendations
  • Remain on-site to provide timely services and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
