Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and licensure required
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially at the high school level, preferred
- Proficient in conducting psychological and academic evaluations
- Strong skills in report writing and developing recommendations for intervention plans
- Excellent interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork and communication with staff, students, and families
- Ability to attend and participate meaningfully in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
Responsibilities:
- Manage a high school caseload, delivering psychological assessments to identify students’ needs
- Compile comprehensive, insightful evaluation reports
- Attend and contribute to meetings with multidisciplinary teams to develop student-centric plans
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support positive learning environments
- Collaborate with families to guide them through the evaluation process and discuss recommendations
- Remain on-site to provide timely services and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
