Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan School Psychologist Certification (or willingness for out-of-state applicants to obtain MI licensure before starting)
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Solid assessment and intervention skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Team-oriented approach and adaptability in a collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret evaluation data to guide interventions
- Collaborate with staff and families to design and implement individualized support plans
- Support academic and social-emotional development across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Go beyond traditional testing—participate actively in building-wide mental health initiatives, consultation, and preventative services
- Serve as a key resource for students, educators, and families regarding mental health and wellness
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
