Key Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan School Psychologist Certification (or willingness for out-of-state applicants to obtain MI licensure before starting)
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Solid assessment and intervention skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Team-oriented approach and adaptability in a collaborative environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret evaluation data to guide interventions
  • Collaborate with staff and families to design and implement individualized support plans
  • Support academic and social-emotional development across elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Go beyond traditional testing—participate actively in building-wide mental health initiatives, consultation, and preventative services
  • Serve as a key resource for students, educators, and families regarding mental health and wellness
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
