Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required
• Background working as a School Psychologist in PreK-12 settings preferred
• Strong understanding of the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) process
• Demonstrated skills in conducting comprehensive student evaluations
• Experience with behavior intervention strategies
• Ability to provide effective mental health counseling when needed
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for behavior and learning concerns
• Support and participate actively in the MTSS process alongside teachers and support personnel
• Provide crisis intervention and mental health counseling, as necessary
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Document and communicate evaluation findings and recommendations effectively
• Contribute to individualized education program (IEP) meetings
