Qualifications & Experience:
- Current state license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in Grades K-12 (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized tests and behavioral assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, parents, and staff
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Response to Intervention (RTI), and 504 plans
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies for various student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and support intervention plans
- Provide short-term individual or group counseling to address student needs
- Participate in eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and progress monitoring
- Provide consultative services to teachers and families regarding best practices for student support
- Promote a positive, inclusive school climate for all
