Licensed Grades 6 - 8 School Psychologist | Detroit, Michigan

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current license as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with students across K–12 (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Develop and help implement appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and 504 plans
• Deliver direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and recommend evidence-based interventions
• Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards and school policies
