In this exciting contract role near Discovery Bay, CA, you’ll have the opportunity to provide impactful psychological services to students during the second semester of the school year. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) runs from January 4, 2027, through May 28, 2027. As a key contributor, you will help ensure students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs are thoroughly assessed and supported.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential/license
- Experience with psychoeducational testing, assessments, and report writing
- Understanding of IEP development and participation in IEP meetings
- Ability to provide behavioral consultation and counseling for students
- Flexibility to serve multiple sites and various grade levels (to be determined)
- Strong collaborative and communication skills with staff, families, and fellow professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, administer assessments, and write comprehensive reports
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings as a School Psychologist representative
- Consult with educators and families to develop and implement behavioral and intervention plans
- Deliver counseling services as needed to support student social-emotional health
- Support a collaborative, inclusive atmosphere while serving an assigned caseload
