Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling in school settings
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
- Proficiency with individualized education plans (IEPs) and report writing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies for students
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams to create and review IEPs
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention support as needed
- Consult with educators and families to design plans that address academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Keep accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Support initiatives that enhance positive school climate and promote inclusion
