This contract position (0.5 FTE) offers the opportunity to work closely with dedicated educators and motivated learners in a dynamic high school setting for the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within a high school environment preferred
- Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized and curriculum-based assessments
- Strong background in developing and supporting individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to identify student needs and interventions
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services
- Facilitate team meetings and contribute to special education processes, including eligibility determinations
- Engage families in the evaluation, IEP development, and implementation process
- Support the implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance school-wide mental wellness
