Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting and interpreting initial IEPs, 504 plans, and re-evaluations
  • Strong understanding of assessment practices, report writing, and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to support students in a small-group counseling setting is a plus
  • Effective organizational and time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Liaise with teachers and parents to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Provide, or assist with, small group counseling services as needed
  • Serve as a resource for staff, offering strategies and insights for student behavioral and emotional success
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
