Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling services within a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support diverse learners and collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations in special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create strategies for student success
- Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all applicable regulations
