Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Experience conducting assessments, creating behavior plans, and delivering counseling or intervention services in school settings
• Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and best practices in psychological assessments
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and challenges
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with parents, teachers, and related service staff to develop individualized plans
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students
• Offer guidance and training to staff on behavioral interventions, classroom management, and mental health concerns
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal standards within the school setting
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed
