Your expertise as a Maryland-certified School Psychologist will be essential in providing thorough assessments and meaningful input in team settings.
Enjoy a diverse work week, Monday through Friday, with flexible schedules: either 7:20am to 2:40pm or 8:30am to 3:50pm. Assignments will vary, allowing for variety and professional growth in each day.
Key Qualifications:
- Maryland School Psychologist certification required
- Experience working in schools with PK-21 populations is highly preferred
- Strong skills in cognitive, social/emotional, behavioral, and adaptive assessments
- Capacity to develop and support FBAs and BIPs
- Confident in participating in IEP/SST meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
- Flexible mindset and excellent communication abilities
- Comfort moving across multiple school sites
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations as needed
- Attending and actively participating in IEP and SST meetings
- Supporting the development of behavioral plans when necessary
- Providing consultative support to educational staff and families
- Potentially offering counseling services should future needs arise
- Managing caseloads across several elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Leveraging district-provided technology resources (laptop supplied)
