Exciting new opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting! This full-time contract position focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services for K-6th grade students in the vibrant Raleigh area. Work onsite alongside a committed faculty and support the growth and development of young learners through crucial evaluations and assessments.

Your background in school psychology will be invaluable as you collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to identify students’ needs and guide effective instructional and behavioral interventions. You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive school environment and advocating for students’ mental health and academic success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Experience working with elementary-age students (K-6) preferred
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work onsite and engage directly with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide recommendations for interventions, accommodations, and services
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Offer consultation to teachers, staff, and parents regarding students’ behavioral and academic needs
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal standards
