Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
• Certified to work with K-12 student populations
• Previous experience providing psychological assessments and evaluations in school settings
• Strong knowledge of developmental, learning, and behavioral needs at both elementary and secondary levels
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students across K-12
• Provide written reports and recommendations to support student success and access to services
• Collaborate with educators and families regarding student learning, behavior, and social-emotional needs
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and offer expert insights during team discussions
• Consult with teachers and administrators to develop strategies and interventions
• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and district requirements for documentation and confidentiality
• Work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week to ensure continuity for students
