Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid NC School Psychologist license (required)
  • Experience working in school settings at the elementary, middle, or high school levels
  • Strong background in conducting evaluations and assessments for students
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities within a K-12 population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to support students’ learning needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design effective student plans
  • Deliver recommendations to teachers and families, offering insight into interventions, accommodations, and supports
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and confidential records for each case
  • Support a positive and inclusive school environment across a K-12 setting
