Your role will focus on conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for a diverse K-12 caseload. Your insights and recommendations will play a vital part in shaping academic programs and interventions, ensuring every child’s unique needs are identified and addressed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid NC School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience working in school settings at the elementary, middle, or high school levels
- Strong background in conducting evaluations and assessments for students
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities within a K-12 population
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to support students’ learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design effective student plans
- Deliver recommendations to teachers and families, offering insight into interventions, accommodations, and supports
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and confidential records for each case
- Support a positive and inclusive school environment across a K-12 setting
