An opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist to support a small school district serving approximately 1,100 K-12 students across four buildings. This position is based in Eagar, AZ, and is offered on a contract basis for the upcoming school year.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working with K-12 populations and have the ability to provide comprehensive psychological services in a multi-building district setting. This role is critical to maintaining and enhancing the district’s support for student mental health and academic success, as it fills a vacancy left by a departing psychologist.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing consultation and support for behavior management and intervention strategies
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of school-wide initiatives
- Delivering counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
Desired qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple school buildings
