What you’ll bring to the role:
- Current certification and credentials as a School Psychologist
- Experience supporting the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of diverse K-12 students
- Solid understanding of evaluation, intervention, and special education assessment processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, adept at working with educators, administrators, families, and outside agencies
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the same district
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, supporting the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate as part of student support teams, offering expertise on mental health and learning needs
- Deliver consultations and training to staff and parents on student development, behavior plans, and interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to compliance procedures and ethical standards
