Per Diem School Psychologist | Easley, South Carolina

Make a meaningful difference in students' educational success by providing per-diem psychological evaluations in a flexible, assessment-based role. As an experienced School Psychologist or Psychometrist licensed in South Carolina, you'll have the autonomy to shape your schedule and contribute your expertise while supporting students throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive initial and reevaluations, including:
  • Psychoeducational assessments
  • Social-emotional and behavioral evaluations
  • Adaptive behavior and executive functioning assessments
  • Autism evaluations (as assigned)
  • Additional assessments related to suspected disabilities
• Review existing data, records, classroom performance, and input from teachers and parents to determine assessment needs
• Choose and document the most appropriate assessment tools for each case
• Complete evaluations within 30 calendar days of parental consent, submitting reports within 7 days of testing completion
• Present findings and recommendations at eligibility meetings, virtually or in person
• Coordinate with Special Education Services and school staff to ensure smooth scheduling and logistics
• Provide all necessary assessment materials and adhere to district protocols, including confidentiality and visitor procedures
• Ensure written parental consent is obtained before assessments

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Department of Education School Psychologist Certification (Level I, II, or III)
• Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Previous school-based evaluation experience is preferred
• Strong skills in report writing, organization, and communication
• Ability to independently manage assessment timelines and work well with multidisciplinary teams
