Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings highly preferred
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and counseling services
- Strong knowledge of special education compliance and procedures
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and evolving school needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interpret evaluation data for eligibility and intervention planning
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Offer crisis intervention and support to students as needed
- Facilitate staff development related to mental health, behavior, and learning strategies
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with all legal, ethical, and school district guidelines
- Engage in proactive communication with school staff regarding student progress and needs
