This contract opportunity involves working as a school psychologist on a 0.8 FTE basis, supporting young learners with their unique developmental and academic needs. You’ll build valuable relationships with students, staff, and families, playing a key role in shaping positive learning environments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience working in a school setting, particularly with early childhood or preschool-aged children
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills, with a talent for connecting with young students and their families
  • Understanding of assessment tools, special education regulations, and intervention strategies for early learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for early childhood students
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
  • Provide direct support and intervention to students as needed
  • Offer consultation to staff on behavioral, academic, and social-emotional concerns
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
