This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated and compassionate professional skilled in psychological services, assessment, and collaborative problem-solving. The position spans two overlapping maternity leaves, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience throughout the fall semester.
You will conduct evaluations, consult with teachers and parents, and provide direct support to students while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This hands-on, in-person role is part of a committed support team, serving as a crucial partner in developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) through Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA).
Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota School Psychologist certification or licensure required.
- Demonstrated experience developing IEP goals and PBSPs, utilizing FBAs.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal education regulations.
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data, write clear reports, and present findings to educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations and interpret results.
- Collaborate actively on eligibility, placement, and behavioral planning.
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEP goals.
- Support PBSPs and conduct FBAs in cooperation with staff and families.
- Serve as a resource to school personnel and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure all services adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
