Openings include:

• Two full-year Behavior Specialist opportunities (2.0 FTE total) supporting students at Ann Bremer Education Center.
• Two contract Behavior Specialist roles at South Education Center (1.0 FTE each), both covering leaves of absence—one estimated through mid-October and the other likely extending beyond September.

Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
• Valid Minnesota special education teaching license, school psychologist license, or school social worker license as issued by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB); or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, or currently in the process of obtaining certification.
• Demonstrated experience as an EBD/ASD teacher with behavioral intervention expertise, or as a licensed school psychologist.
• Strong skills in functional behavioral assessment, developing intervention plans, and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to thrive in flexible, supportive roles responsive to student needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and implement evidence-based behavioral strategies for students requiring targeted intervention.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans.
• Provide direct and consultative services for both students and staff to drive positive behavioral and academic outcomes.
• Monitor progress, prepare documentation, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to district best practices in student support.
