You'll make a significant impact by engaging with approximately 40 students in grades 6-8, playing a crucial role in their academic and social-emotional development.

Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working from 8:30 to 3:00, allowing you to achieve a true work-life balance. Your expertise will be valued as you participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consultations, helping shape the educational experience for each student.

What we’re seeking:

  • Valid New Jersey School Psychologist certification (required)
  • Prior experience working with adolescents in a school setting
  • In-depth understanding of assessment tools and evaluation techniques
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, families, and students
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive school environment

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
  • Participating in eligibility and IEP meetings as part of the Child Study Team
  • Consulting with parents, staff, and administrators to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Developing intervention strategies and supporting individualized student plans
  • Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and adhering to all state and district guidelines
