Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a school psychologist for a contract position available from September 2nd through January 1st. Key qualifications and experience:

  • Active School Psychologist certification required
  • Background providing psychological and counseling services in elementary school settings preferred
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and offer individualized support
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teachers and families
  • Experience with assessment, intervention, and development of student support plans

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for a caseload of 25-30 elementary students
  • Deliver counseling services, maintaining a counseling roster of approximately 15 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education and behavioral plans in collaboration with school staff and families
  • Consult with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents regarding student needs
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, team conferences, and the development of support strategies
  • Maintain thorough, confidential records in accordance with district and state guidelines
