Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong foundational knowledge of psychological assessments, intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Experience collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychoeducational assessments
- Interpret and communicate assessment results with students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with educators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
- Work with administrators to address school-wide issues related to behavior, learning, and mental health
- Offer support and workshops for parents and teachers on relevant topics related to student well-being
- Maintain documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
