Qualifications/Skills Sought:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist (or eligibility)
- Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports
- Familiarity with IEP and 504 Plan processes
- Strong communication skills for consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Ability to work across elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Knowledge of current legal requirements pertaining to student services
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Participate in eligibility meetings and revews to develop effective support plans
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to create positive learning environments
- Consult with families and staff on student learning or behavioral concerns
- Offer crisis intervention and help plan for prevention and early intervention
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
- Support staff professional development in understanding diverse learner needs
