Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience in assessment, intervention, and consultation within educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently both independently and with teams
- Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in K-12 schools is preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for services
- Interpret assessment results and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to address academic and behavioral needs
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral supports as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
