An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist to support elementary students (K–5th grade) in a collaborative and rewarding environment near Elgin, IL. This full-time position focuses on conducting student evaluations and working closely with dedicated professionals, including Social Workers and Speech-Language Pathologists. You will play a vital role in helping students succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois School Psychologist Certification is required
  • Previous experience in an elementary school setting (K–5th grade) preferred
  • Strong understanding of conducting student assessments and evaluations
  • Familiarity with the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for elementary students
  • Actively participate in and help guide the MTSS process for early intervention and support
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop strategies that promote student success
  • Attend and contribute to school, IEP, and team meetings
  • Work in partnership with the Social Worker and Speech-Language Pathologist to develop holistic student plans
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation as required by the district and state guidelines

Compensation for this contract position ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, eligible candidates may receive healthcare benefits, housing accommodations, and meals/incidentals.
