Key Qualifications:
- Hold current Illinois School Psychologist Certification
- Experience performing comprehensive student evaluations and observations
- Skilled in conducting push-in group interventions and providing in-class support
- Familiarity with IEP processes and attending multidisciplinary team meetings
- Ability to work effectively across a range of ages and developmental needs (K-21 years)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations to assess student needs
- Perform classroom observations, providing insights and recommendations for support strategies
- Implement push-in group sessions aimed at enhancing social, emotional, and academic growth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized plans
- Attend and contribute to meetings focused on student progress and support services
- Maintain thorough, compliant records and participate in ongoing case management
