Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification
  • Experience in providing psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
  • Skilled in counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention techniques
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education laws
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional strengths and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop personalized education plans
  • Provide direct counseling services and intervention strategies for students
  • Consult with teachers and staff on behavior management and learning strategies
  • Facilitate and support the RTI/MTSS process and related data collection
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
