Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Experience in both play-based and traditional student assessments
  • Strong knowledge of psychoeducational evaluation tools and special education procedures
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a K-12 or early childhood educational environment is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct play-based assessments for early childhood students to inform intervention and support strategies
  • Complete comprehensive psychological evaluations for students across age groups as required by the district
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret results and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise on student development, learning, and behavior
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to staff and families to promote student well-being and academic achievement
  • Maintain detailed and confidential student records in compliance with relevant laws and district guidelines
