What we’re seeking:
- Valid PEL with School Psychologist endorsement (Illinois)
- Previous experience as a school psychologist preferred, especially within PreK-8 environments
- Comfort working with varied grade levels and adapting to changing caseloads
- Strong skills in assessments, counseling, consultation, and IEP participation
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program development
- Provide direct intervention services, including counseling and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to shape student success
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and support the implementation of specialized education plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation while adhering to state and district policies
