School Psychologist - Elgin, IL

The anticipated workload is 35-37.5 hours per week, with the specific grade level and caseload to be determined—flexibility and adaptability across all grade levels are a must.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Previous experience as a school psychologist, preferably in a PreK-8 school environment
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in dynamic settings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Offer direct support services and consultation to staff, families, and students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support crisis intervention, problem-solving, and data-driven decisions to enhance student well-being
