Desired Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience working in elementary settings strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively assess and support students within an onsite, school-based environment
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and best practices in school psychology
- Commitment to supporting diverse students and promoting a positive school climate
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations for special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school staff and families
- Offer direct interventions and counseling to students as needed
- Consult with teachers and administrators to support student achievement and well-being
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide behavioral support strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with both regulatory and district requirements
- Be present onsite at Bardwell Elementary (and potentially Brady Elementary)
