Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for referred students
- Interpret assessment data and share findings with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop interventions and support plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert insight
- Provide crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Support positive school climate initiatives and prevention programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and legal standards
