Empower student success as a School Psychologist within a supportive educational environment in the greater Columbia, SC area. Play an essential role in fostering emotional, social, and academic development for students and collaborating closely with educators and families. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and offers a dynamic onsite experience with a diverse student population.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Strong background in conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and behavior interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills for partnering with students, staff, and caregivers
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Response to Intervention (RTI), and other special education procedures
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, crisis response, and consultation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that support student learning and well-being
  • Interpret assessment data and present findings to educators, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Support the implementation of behavior management and social-emotional programs school-wide
  • Assist in the creation and progress monitoring of student IEPs
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by educational standards
