Make an impact supporting students’ well-being as a School Psychologist in the Elgin, SC area. This full-time contract opportunity starts August 6, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week on a traditional school-site schedule. As an onsite role, you’ll be an integral member of a collaborative educational team, providing valuable psychological services and guidance for the duration of the academic year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid state certification and credentials as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong skills in evaluation, consultation, and providing direct services
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and prepare comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and service providers to develop student support strategies
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering expert insight and recommendations
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to support student success
- Monitor progress, document services, and adjust interventions as needed
- Promote positive behavioral and emotional development within the school community
