Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology
- State certification as a School Psychologist
- At least two years of experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent education and experience
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and mental health services
- Capable of clear, confident communication with students, parents, and staff
- Sound judgment, organization, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer detailed psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility, including ability, achievement, personality, and behavior assessments
- Deliver individual and group counseling and mental health services to students
- Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and community agencies to support student learning and behavior
- Participate in IEP development, student assessment teams, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Provide crisis management and intervention services
- Maintain thorough documentation and prepare detailed assessment reports
- Collaborate on Medicaid reimbursement and compliance documentation
- Remain current with professional trends, legislation, and innovations
