Key Qualifications:
- Active certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working in PreK–12 school settings is preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Proficient in administering and interpreting standardized psychological tests
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with IEP development, Response to Intervention, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services
- Develop and implement interventions to promote student success and well-being
- Assist in school-wide initiatives supporting a positive and inclusive school climate
- Remain current on best practices and ethical standards in school psychology
