Step into a rewarding full-time role supporting students’ well-being and success as a School Psychologist. Work within a dynamic PreK-8 environment, with a primary focus on the P-4 age group, across four district buildings. This contract position offers a stable schedule from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, ideal for those who thrive on making meaningful connections and contributions during the traditional school day.

Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Hands-on experience in a school setting, preferably spanning PreK through elementary grades
  • Strong proficiency with case management and counseling for students with diverse needs
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with both students and faculty
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and intervention planning skills
  • Commitment to fostering social-emotional growth and academic progress

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a dedicated caseload of approximately 40-50 students, focusing on comprehensive case coordination
  • Provide individual and small group counseling for 2-8 students, with an emphasis on evidence-based support
  • Conduct thorough assessments, facilitate data-driven interventions, and develop actionable, student-centered plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to deliver cohesive support services
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
  • Engage in preventive initiatives and promote a positive, inclusive school climate
