Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements must be met)
  • Experience in administering cognitive and behavioral assessments for students
  • Background in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention, counseling, and providing recommendations for classroom interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with faculty, staff, and families
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice in all responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and report findings in clear, accessible language
  • Support the development and monitoring of IEPs and Section 504 plans according to student needs
  • Provide direct counseling services for students individually and in small groups
  • Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss interventions and progress
  • Advise teachers and staff on strategies for supporting diverse learners and promoting a healthy school climate
  • Assist in crisis response protocols and follow-up as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
