This unique opportunity centers on providing vital psychological services for the new school year (NSY) during a maternity leave, with the assignment running until October 16, 2026. You’ll play a key role in evaluating and guiding young learners, ensuring every child receives the resources and interventions they need to reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for certification
  • Previous experience with early childhood or preschool-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and practices related to special education eligibility
  • Exceptional communication, collaborative, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret assessment data and write clear, comprehensive reports

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct developmental, cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments for preschool students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to develop educational recommendations
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide guidance on interventions and services
  • Offer consultation and strategies for supporting young learners in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of all documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
